OUR STORY

Our Journey: Empowering Women Through Code

CodeGirls SA was founded with a vision to bridge the gender gap in technology and create opportunities for women to thrive in the digital economy. We believe that education is the key to empowerment, and through our comprehensive training programs, we're helping women build the skills they need to succeed in tech careers.

Since our inception, we've completed three cohorts and one Phase 2 backend class, training women in web development, programming, and business skills. Our graduates have successfully completed two final projects and two viva interviews, demonstrating their technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and readiness to advance in their tech careers.

Based in Cape Town, South Africa, we're proud to be part of a global movement that's making technology education accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or previous experience.
